As spring dawns, Ulverston International Music Festival prepares for a final Winter Series Concert.
Taking place on March 23 at 7.30pm, in Ulverston Parish Church, renowned violinist Roman Simović teams up with pianist Anthony Hewitt for an intimate recital.
The "charismatic and virtuosic performer" is set to wow attendees, delivering Beethoven's Kreutzer and Strauss's Violin Sonata in E flat major.
Hailed as one of Europe's finest violinists, Simović juggles various roles as a coveted soloist, educator and leader for the London Symphony Orchestra, reputedly the UK's top orchestra. He is also a chamber musician.
Despite his demanding schedule, he recently released the complete Paganini caprices on the LSO Live label.
His appearance at the Ulverston International Music Festival offers a not-to-be-missed opportunity for violin enthusiasts to witness his performance first hand.
