A team was on hand to face community concerns in the Hindpool area of Barrow.
Representatives of police, fire, housing and health and council agencies visited homes to listen to the key problems facing residents.
The Westmorland and Furness Thriving Communities group thanked the volunteers for their 'fantastic turn out' which was a part of their Street Safe operations.
A Street Safe scheme is where agency representatives visit an area and go door-to-door to canvas opinions and experiences of communities in order to protect them from crime and anti-social behaviour.
Feedback forms will be posted through the door of anyone they were not able to catch on the day.
The public was also advised to report crime in their area anonymously via independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
