A SECTION of road in a town centre is set to close for council works.
A section of Market Street in Dalton will be closed while resurfacing works are carried out for Westmorland and Furness council.
This is set to start on March 15 and take up to fifteen days to complete.
An alternative route can be found via the unrestricted sections of Market Street, Ulverston Road, A590, Park Road and Abbey Road.
A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
