A SECTION of the promenade in Walney will close from 8am March 4 to 6pm March 13.
The council has put in a road closure from Mill Lane extending northwards for approximately 200m.
The recommended alternative route would be via North Scale, Cows Tarn Lane, West Shore Road and Mill Lane.
This is for resurfacing works.
