NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to six of Westmorland and Furness’s establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The following ratings have been given to four restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: Greggs at 2-4 Portland Walk, Barrow, Cumbria; rated on February 14
• Rated 5: University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation at Furness General Hospital, Dalton Lane, Barrow, Cumbria; rated on January 18
• Rated 4: Alpine Restaurant at 1 Grosvenor Terrace, Bowness-On-Windermere; rated on January 23
• Rated 4: The Magic Roundabout at 8 Queens Square, Bowness-On-Windermere; rated on January 23
And two ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:
• Rated 5: The Waterloo at 140 Rawlinson Street, Barrow, Cumbria; rated on January 24
• Rated 5: Roa Island Boat Club at Roa Island Boating Club Ltd, Piel Street, Roa Island, Barrow; rated on January 19
