The team at a café in Ambleside are raising money for a local hospice in memory of a colleague's wife.
David Williams has been creating 'crafty' spider plants to sell, with the money going to St Mary's Hospice in Ulverston.
So far, £180 has been raised with plenty of plants still waiting for a new home away from the café.
David's wife Ann was looked after by the hospice, which is why all the donations are set to go to the charity.
The hospice explained that the amount also includes 'generous' match-funding from David himself in the hope of bringing in as much money as possible.
The plants are still on sale from the café on Stockghyll Lane for £1.50 each.
