An exhibition celebrating the people and heritage of Barrow was opened by the mayor over the weekend.
The 'Place - Re:discover Barrow' exhibition is being held at the Nan Tait Centre on Abbey Road and opened to public on Saturday, February 10.
It will be in place until February 23 with the exhibition open between 11am and 4pm before being made exclusive to appointment until Friday April 19.
Councillor Chris Altree, Mayor of Barrow, said: "It features artworks by Signal Film and Media, Theatre Factory, Full of Noises, Artfly, local filmmaker Colin Aldred, historical artefacts from the Dock Museum and much more.
"The show tells the collective stories of individuals who have lived and worked in Barrow through an art lens and celebrates the rich heritage of Barrow."
