The Ambleside Parish Centre is hoping to help people living with dementia in the area through an upcoming group.
The support session is set to take place on Tuesday, February 20 and will run between 10:30am and 11:30am.
Inviting both people living with the condition and their carers and close ones, the group will provide a friendly atmosphere in the hope of removing some of the stigma around dementia.
The session will involve talks about the condition, leaflets with additional information, games to provide some levity, hot drinks and a chance to speak to other people facing similar situations.
More details can be found at the centre itself, by calling 015394 34172 or by visiting the website.
