Barrow police dog Jovi was out with officers from Cumbria Police as part of a drug scanning operation.

PD Jovi attended many licensed premises in the town centre with officers as part of a Saturday night crackdown.

Officers posted three images of the operation on its Facebook page last night with the caption: "Remember drugs have no place in our night time economy. Jovi is well trained and will catch you!"

Jovi was recruited to the force in 2020 during lockdown alongside fellow PDs Dot and Lola.

The canines underwent vital training at Lakes College.
