POLICE have warned drivers not to travel to the area of Kirkstone Pass due to 'heavy snow.'
Cumbria Police received reports that Kirkstone Pass is affected by heavy snow following the current yellow weather warning for snow.
The force said: "Please do not travel to the area take alterative routes. Please take extra care, especially on minor roads."
According to the Met Office, the yellow weather warning for snow is in place until tomorrow morning (February 9) at 6am.
