There were five events that competitors had to negotiate. The final event was to deadlift a 100kg Conan's wheel for the women, and a 165kg one for the men.
First, second and third received trophies and everyone participating got a medal.
Speaking before the competition, Callum said: "We've done research, we don't think there's another in Barrow. Myself and a couple of other lads, we're a local strong-man group. Steve [Hartle] is my PT. We were doing a few competitions. We thought we could do this and it be a really good thing for the community.
"From there it grew arms and legs. We're all from Transformation Unit, we're a really food bunch of lads"
People travelled from far and wide to compete. Callum said that one was coming from Birmingham.
"We're not making any money off this at all," Callum said. "Any money we could have made from it we've put back into it." This was so that the group could buy the best equipment for the competition.
