A SOLICITORS has employed three new staff members as they expand their conveyancing department and launch a hub from its Ulverston office.

Progression Solicitors specialises in offering a complete legal service and have offices across South Cumbria in Ulverston, Windermere, Grange, Barrow and Lancaster.

The new team at the Ulverston branch will be headed by Victoria Tyson, formerly of Denby & Co Solicitors in Barrow.

Victoria has 15 years' worth of experience and expertise in dealing with a comprehensive range of residential conveyancing transactions, including purchases, sales, remortgages and transfers of equity.

She said: “Property transactions can be extremely stressful, largely due to uncertainty and the sense of not knowing what is happening with your transaction. However, this doesn’t need to be the case.

“I strongly believe that good communication and a positive solicitor / client relationship is key to reducing this.

"I will keep you up to date at all stages of your transaction, so you won’t feel isolated or kept in the dark about matters which have a real effect on you and your wellbeing.”

She is assisted by another new member, Georgia Thompson, who has worked in the conveyancing sector for several years.

Her favourite aspect of the job is when she gets the chance to tell her clients that contracts have been exchanged or that their transactions have been completed.

Katie Harrison also joins the team on reception with front-of-house duties.

Progression Solicitors offer complete legal advice for individuals such as Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Divorce and Financial Separation, Child Arrangements, Wills and Tax Advice, Probate and Estate Administration.

The firm also offers business services including Contracts and terms of business, Start-Ups and Joint Ventures, Property Development, Employment law, Business sales, Purchases, Amalgamations and Commercial Leases.
