A new service has been launched to give businesses in Barrow free access to printers.

The initiative has been organised by Barrow BID, with the group hopeful that the scheme will give local, independent businesses more of a chance to promote themselves.

A spokesperson said: "Here at Barrow BID we have recently acquired a new high quality printer and recognise that printing costs can be an obstacle for businesses.

"That's why we will be operating a new printing service, offering a wide range of printing options to meet your needs and help promote your business."

All levy-paying businesses will be given 30 free prints per year, with additional uses costing 5p for black and white prints and 10p for colour prints.

Businesses looking to use the service can visit Barrow BID's office on Duke Street on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 9:00am and 5:00pm, or they can email manager@barrowbid.co.uk or marketing@barrowbid.co.uk.
