A MAN has been told to pay a court fine for causing another harassment, alarm or distress.
David Lewis, of Theatre Street in Ulverston, pleaded guilty at the first opportunity to using threatening / abusive / insulting words / behaviour with intent in Ulverston on November 24 last year.
The 23-year-old also admitted to being in possession of cannabis on the same when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates Court on January 24.
Magistrates ordered for forfeiture and destruction of the drugs and issued a £200 fine as punishment.
He was also required to pay £85 in court costs and an £80 surcharge by March 20 2024.
