The residents of Dalton and Askam in Furness have listed anti-social driving as their biggest concern.
This comes following a recent survey conducted by the local neighbourhood policing teams.
They said that the 'majority' of the results highlighted how both areas still have ongoing issues in terms of reckless driving.
A spokesperson from the Barrow NPT said: "Over the next two weeks, PC 3366 will be carrying out high visibility patrols along with vehicle checks and speed checks in both areas.
"Our aim is to reduce the impact of the ASB for local residents and to take positive action against those that wish to cause this."
The PACT survey went live on January 1 and involved residents outlining what they feel should be the priority of the police going forward.
