NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded to 12 of South Cumbria's establishments, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
The following ratings have been given to six restaurants, cafes or canteens:
• Rated 5: The Tilly Bar and Kitchen at 13 Crescent Road, Windermere; rated on January 22
• Rated 5: Beresford's Restaurant and Pub at Beresford'S, Beresford Road, Windermere; rated on January 11
• Rated 5: Number 3 Curry House at 3 Beetham Road, Milnthorpe; rated on January 9
• Rated 5: Castle Green Hotel at Castle Green Lane, Kendal; rated on January 8
• Rated 5: marra at Branthwaite Brow, Kendal; rated on January 8
• Rated 5: Brown Sugar at Main Road, Windermere; rated on January 4
And six ratings have been handed to pubs, bars or nightclubs:
• Rated 5: The Heron at Esthwaite Avenue, Kendal; rated on January 22
• Rated 5: Smokies Retro Bar at Yard 2, Stricklandgate, Kendal; rated on January 17
• Rated 5: The Cross Keys at Cautley, Sedbergh; rated on January 15
• Rated 5: Royal Oak Inn at Brantfell Road, Bowness; rated on January 11
• Rated 5: The Newfield Inn at Newfield Inn, Seathwaite, Broughton-In-Furness; rated on January 9
• Rated 5: The Principal at 8 Market Place, Kendal; rated on January 8
