A car dealership has provided Barrow's neighbourhood policing team with a new vehicle.
The donated Hyundai Kona from DSG Ltd marks a twelve-year history of support.
The vehicle will enable neighbourhood officers and staff to maintain safety in the town and surrounding areas.
Crime Prevention Officer Sharon Livesey-Roach said: "We really appreciate DSG’s continued commitment to helping us reduce crime in our communities and the vehicle is an extremely useful resource to do that.
"This partnership assists us getting to those people who need our support and advice.
"In my role as a crime prevention officer, I am regularly visiting areas to advise people on how best to protect themselves from criminals and help prevent crimes from occurring."
