THERE are only around 60 spaces out of 250 left for pre-registrations for private heart screening sessions at Hawcoat Park Sports Club.

The sessions have been set up by David Hughes, who works as a contractor for BAE. The age range is 14-35 and the sessions will be on February 24/25.

There is a health questionnaire that will take around 15 minutes to fill out before registration.

Mr Hughes' son Daniel died aged 28 from an undiagnosed heart condition on March 18 2015. He died in his sleep from Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS).

Mr Hughes has set up the sessions with Cardiac Risk in the Young, a charity that provides heart screenings for young people.
