A TEENAGER has been handed a second youth offender referral order and ordered to pay compensation by a court.
The 15-year-old boy, from Barrow, who cannot be identified due to his age, pleaded guilty to criminal damage to property valued under £5,000 and using threatening / abusive / insulting words with intent to cause / provoke unlawful violence.
In pleading guilty at the first opportunity to the charges, the teen admitted to damaging a window of an unknown value and causing another person to believe that immediate unlawful violence would be used against them.
He was given a 12-month referral order and ordered to pay £500 compensation when he appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates Court on December 29.
