CUMBRIA Police are appealing for information following a fatal two-vehicle collision on the A590 at Gilpin Bridge.
Emergency services were contacted at around 9am on Tuesday following a report of a collision involving a Jaguar car and a delivery van.
A man in his 20s from the Leicestershire area, who was the driver of the Jaguar, died as a result of the crash.
The driver of the van was uninjured.
Police were called to the scene at 09:01 am and closed the road in both directions between the Meathop roundabout and Levens.
