Residents living in Askam and Dalton have the chance to dictate Cumbria Police's priorities heading into 2024.

As part of their engagement plan to identify what the local communities feel should be the focus of policing efforts, a PACT survey has been launched for the two areas.

It went live on January 1, with another set being made available on January 6 for residents in Barrow Central and Hindpool.

A spokesperson for the Barrow Neighbourhood Policing Team said: "Each survey runs for two weeks and allows residents to complete an online form selecting what they feel is the main problem in their area.

"They can also provide additional information which is then sent direct to our team for review."

Following completion of the survey, participants will then have the option to attend a community meeting at a later date to discuss the issues raised.

You can find the survey here.
