WITH the start of the new year, we thought we would do a round-up of some of the acts coming to Barrow soon. 

From musicians to comedians, these are the people performing in Barrow this year at The Forum on Duke Street. 

Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra -  the audience will be treated to Bizet's Prelude from Carmen, and Beethoven's Fifth Symphony as part of the orchestra's opening concert under conductor Domingo Hindoyan on January 20. The orchestra will also be performing A Little Night Music and Sovenir De Florence on Friday 21 and Sunday 30 May respectively. 

Most Haunted Live - TV star Yvette Fielding will be bringing the show to the stage. The audience will be see Most Haunted's All-Time Top 10 Scares with unseen video footage from haunted castles, manor houses, hospitals and prisons on Thursday February 1. 

Ross Noble - the comedian, who has appeared on multiple TV shows over the years, will be performing on Sunday, February 4. 

Northern Ballet - Tortoise and the Hare - this ballet is designed as an introduction to live ballet and music to children. The classic tale will be told in song and dance on Monday, March 18. 

Tommy Blaize - the lead singer from BBC's Strictly Come Dancing will be performing in Barrow on Sunday 21 April. 

John Lydon - the punk rocker known for his role in The Sex Pistols and Public Image Limited will be performing a spoken word show 'I Could Be Wrong, I Could Be Right' as part of his UK tour. He will give a talk about his career and answer audience questions on June 12. 

Scouting for Girls - the indie-pop band known for hits such as 'She's So Lovely' will be visiting Barrow on October 27 as part of their 'The Place We Used to Meet - Part 2' tour.
