Police have issued an appeal for information after two burglaries in Ambleside (Image: Newsquest)
Two neighbouring homes in Ambleside were broken into at once with a hunt now underway for the suspects.
The burglaries took place between the hours of 7:45am on Wednesday December 20 and 7:45am on Thursday December 21 on Kirkstone Road.
Both properties had windows smashed with damage being caused and property taken.
Police are appealing for any witnesses or any information that may help to identify the unknown suspect or suspects.
