POLICE reported no 'morning after' drink drivers after spontaneous vehicle checkpoints.
Undeterred by the weather, officers from the Barrow Neighbourhood policing team spent the morning of December 27 running some spontaneous vehicle checkpoints as part of their road safety activity.
The checkpoints took place across Barrow, Dalton and Askam.
The force said on its social media account that while there were a few traffic offences to deal with, officers on duty were 'pleased' to report no 'morning after' drink drivers were caught.
