A reminder has been sent out to people living in Cumbria to protect their mental health this Christmas.
With preparations already underway, the festive period can be difficult for many people as they search for the 'perfect' Christmas.
The Lancashire and south Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust have provided a list of advice to help locals look after themselves throughout the month.
This includes managing expectations and being realistic of what can be afforded, planning time to do things you enjoy instead of focusing on money, and checking in on people in your life who may be struggling.
Social media was described as a large contributor to people struggling with their mental health, as they try to copy the 'ideal' celebrations shown on Instagram by influencers.
