A series of services have been organised to allow people's lost loved ones to be remembered this Christmas.
The initiative, 'Light up a Life', has been planned by St Mary's Hospice and will take place in Cartmel, Barrow and Ulverston across December.
Melissa Dixon, Events and Challenges Manager at the hospice, said: "For those of us who have lost loved ones we understand that Christmas can be a difficult time.
"Our Light up a Life service is designed to provide comfort, love and hope whilst giving families and friends an opportunity to celebrate the life of someone truly special to them."
The first service will happen at Cartmel Priory on December 3, followed by a Barrow edition at St Paul's Church on December 7.
St Mary's Church in Ulverston will host the third and final service on December 9.
