A new group based around creative arts and wellbeing support is being set up in Barrow.
Organised by St Mary's Hospice, the sessions start this month and will be hosted at their Living Well Centre on Duke Street.
The aim is to provide a creative and supportive space for people with life-limiting conditions.
Those who attend the initial eight sessions will experience therapeutic benefits, as well as finding a new way to relax.
One participant from the groups held elsewhere in south Cumbria said: "I have made new friends through attending and also learnt new skills.
"I always feel really relaxed after group and find myself being able to sleep better."
To access the support, you can visit the centre or phone 01229 444407.
