A POPULAR choir is returning for their special December concert.
Levens Choir is set to perform at the Carver Church in Windermere with A European Christmas show on December 10.
In this programme, spanning the 16th to 20th centuries, Levens Choir, led by Gawain Glenton, will introduce music from the four corners of Europe, including Sweden, Denmark, Ireland, Catalonia, Spain, France, Venice and Ukraine.
It will feature well-known composers together with some less familiar names, including Sweelinck, Praetorius, Gabrieli, Nordqvist, Grieg, Rachmaninov, and Poulenc.
The programme will stretch the choir's linguistic skills to the limit as it sings in seven languages.
The concert will start at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £15 and can be purchased online or at the door.
Entry is free for children and students.
