HUNDREDS of customers across south Cumbria are currently experiencing power cuts, according to Electricity North West.
There is currently a Met Office amber weather warning for wind in place for south Cumbria and the west coast, and north Lancashire and parts of Yorkshire because of Storm Debi. This is combined with a yellow warning for rain.
These are the current power cuts and estimated times of restoration listed on the Electricity North West website:
- Dalton: 227 customers affected. Estimated time of restoration: 4.31pm.
- Dalton Town With Newton, Barrow-In-Furness: 134 customers affected. Estimated time of restoration: 4.09pm
- Windermere: 50 customers affected. Estimated time of restoration: 5.02pm
- Skelsmergh and Scalthwaiterigg: 18 customers affected. Estimated time of restoration: 3pm
- Natland: 12 customers affected. Estimated time of restoration: under review
