DOZENS of homes are set to be left with no electricity due to a planned power cut.
Forty-one customers from the Walney South area will have no electricity October 11 due to the planned power cut to be carried out by Electricity Northwest.
It will affect those living with these postcodes: LA14 3EE, LA14 3EB, LA14 3EF and LA14 3DY.
A spokesperson for Electricity North West said: "We invest millions every year into maintaining the local network.
"This helps us to ensure all areas of the North West region have a safe and secure supply of electricity for the future. Sometimes, this requires us to temporarily interrupt your supply so our engineers can work safely.
"We will always notify you in advance before we plan to interrupt your supply, unless it is an emergency situation we will not notify you."
