Brewery Arts is set to echo with laughter on October 6, hosting an evening of Laurel and Hardy silent film shorts.

Part of the Northern Silent Film Festival, the night promises the classic comedy duo's beloved shorts, live-scored on the venue's renowned Steinway Piano.

Event attendees will see timeless gems including 'Duck Soup', 'Do Detectives Think', and 'The Finishing Touch'.

Ulverston-born Stan Laurel and comedic on-screen partner Oliver Hardy were an iconic duo of the 1920s and 1930s.

These meticulously restored films showcase the duo's comedic genius in all its silent glory, promising fun for the whole family.

Post-screening, festival director Jonny Best joins Mark Cubin of the Laurel and Hardy Museum in a Q&A.

'Another Fine Mess' is a 'must-see' event for classic film and comedy lovers of all ages.
