A virtual event has been announced to help people in Barrow find routes into employment.
The session has been organised by Cumbria CVS in partnership with Inspira Barrow and will take place on October 5.
The purpose of the event is to teach people about new volunteering opportunities in the region that are designed to help people get on the job market.
Participants will be invited to register as a volunteer through the new Cumbria CVS database, connecting residents in Barrow to the wider community.
Following the first session, training and support will be made available to members who require assistance in turning such volunteering activities into steady employment.
Interested parties can join the meeting between 12pm and 1pm via zoom, with tickets available here.
