Places at Simon Rogan's dining experience at Our Farm near Cartmel have been snapped up this summer - and now extra dates have been added.

The added dates include September 26, October 3, and October 10.

Guests at Our Farm begin their experience with a pre-lunch farm tour led by farm manager John Rowland and head chef Liam Fitzpatrick.

Snacks have been strategically placed along the tour, showing off the seasonal produce harvested from the individual beds highlighted by John and Liam.

Following the tour, guests gather at handmade long tables to share a feast cooked and served by Liam and his team.

The menu features dishes made with the best ingredients available, some cooked over an open fire, all served alongside non-alcoholic cocktails.

During lunch, Liam will demonstrate how to prepare one of Simon Rogan's favourite dishes, roast gem lettuce, hen of woods, fermented mushroom juice and elderflower.

This dish, featured in Simon's One Dish book, combines fresh and preserved produce.

The menu served at Our Farm changes according to the availability of farm produce.

Example dishes include braised lamb shoulder finished over coals, grilled turnip with bacon fat and roasted garlic, and salt-baked kohlrabi dressed in spinach butter.

As a parting gift, guests will receive a hamper curated by Simon Rogan himself.

The hamper contains a selection of preserves, fresh produce, seeds, and a copy of the One Dish book.

Each available date can accommodate up to 16 guests per sitting, and reservations can be made online at www.simonrogan.co.uk.
