A RETAILER is opening up on the Barrow high street.
Specsavers is moving from its home in Dalton Road to a new location on the high street, it has been confirmed.
The chain will soon relocate from 70 Dalton Road to 174-176 Dalton Road.
A proposal submitted to Westmorland and Furness Council revealed plans to install an AC conditioner and a number of signs at the new site.
The applications have since been approved.
A Specsavers spokeswoman confirmed the store will be relocating.
The chain offers optometry and optician services for eyesight testing and sells glasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. It also sells hearing aids.
