ST Mary's Hospice at Ulverston has received a donation of £3,467.33 from Grange Over Sands Golf Club.
The joint captains of the club, Margaret Taylor and Steve Johnson, raised the money through a recent charity golf day.
A spokesperson from the hospice said: "Margaret and Steve kindly chose St Mary's as their charity of choice for their entire time in post and Margaret is even going to be jumping out of a plane to raise money for us."
The hospice relies on donor support, as only 17 per cent of the £3.5 million required to fund the facility annually is provided by the NHS.
