THE Police have released an update on a woman who was involved in an incident which closed the M6 in both directions at Tebay yesterday (July 25).
A spokesperson from Cumbria Police said: "A woman was taken to hospital via air ambulance with injuries described as serious."
The Police closed the motorway in both directions at Tebay between junctions 37 and 38. Officers were called out at 9.24pm to the report. The M6 was reopened at 11.32pm.
