A MAN and a woman will face trial at Preston Crown Court after an alleged robbery in Barrow.
35-year-old Lisa Beattie, of Low White Close, Barrow, was charged with robbery and attempted robbery.
50-year-old Darren Hughes, of Newton Road, Dalton, was charged with attempted robbery.
Both denied their charges, which related to an incident in Barrow on July 21, when they appeared at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court on July 24.
The case was referred to Preston Crown Court. Their next hearing will be on August 12.
