A NEW exhibition in different types of printmaking is to go on display at the Printshare Studio and Gallery on Queen Street, Ulverston.
Linocut, paper lithography, monoprint, collagraph and dry point printmaking techniques produced by students during workshops all feature.
The preview will take place on Friday July 21 from 6.30pm – 8.30pm and is open to anyone. The gallery space is also open every Saturday from 10am – 2pm and the exhibition will be on display for two weeks.
Printshare member Anna Litchfield said: “Many of our students had not done printmaking before and they produced some excellent work. It’s great to see the studio up and running and providing a facility in Ulverston where people can come and experiment with printmaking.”
The exhibition will also feature work by Printshare studio members.
After the success of this round of printmaking courses and workshops, a further programme has been planned for later in the year.
Printshare is run as a community focused, not for profit group and welcomes new members. To find out more visit: www.printsharelakes.co.uk or email printsharelakes@gmail.com
