A DOG was found loose in town.
According to Barrow Police, a dog was found on Nearfield Walk, in Barrow last night (July 10) at approximately 11.45pm.
The dog is described as a blue Staffordshire Bull Terrier and has a red collar with no tag.
The dog was taken to Barrow Police Station but is now at Barrow Borough Kennels, The Coach House, 46 North Scale, in Walney.
If the dog is yours, please get in touch with the kennels.
Proof of ownership will be required prior to collecting the dog.
