A 102-year old resident joined in the wedding celebrations of two support workers of the care home she lives in.
Betty, who lives at Parkview Gardens Residential Care Home on Risedale Road, Barrow greeted Shaun and Debbie, who had recently tied the knot.
The couple looked fabulous and donned their wedding attire, complete with yellow flower bouquet, to pose next to Betty for pictures. The glamourous resident wore a hat, as is customary for weddings, along with a baby pink jacket and smart trousers.
The picture was posted on the Westmorland and Furness Facebook page when the lovely comments came flooding in.
The bride herself commented and said: "Absolutely love this pic with our Betty, she is an amazing lady and a real pleasure to look after at PVG.
"It was so lovely to see Betty when we walked out, a special moment. Thank you to the staff at PVG, Janet Turner, Louise Ward, Melissa Benson for this lovely surprise."
