A MAN was found not guilty of rape after a trial.
Lawrence Lowther, then 23, of Lucy Street, Morecambe, was charged last year after a woman reported she had been raped in Heysham, Lancashire.
He was bailed to an address in Cumbria during court proceedings.
Following a trial, Mr Lowther was found not guilty of rape.
