TICKETS are still on sale for a performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado by Charles Court Opera.
The performance is on at The Coro, Ulverston, on Thursday, June 8 at 7.30pm.
The billing says: "Charles Court Opera present their intimate, highly successful, 5-star production of Gilbert and Sullivan's beloved comic masterpiece, fully staged with piano accompaniment."
Charles Court Opera is an opera and music theatre company, often putting on Gilbert and Sullivan plays.
The Mikado is a comic opera set in the fictional Japanese town of Titipu, which satirises British society and customs in the late nineteenth century.
It features musical numbers Three Little Maids, Tit Willow, and A Wandr'ing Minstrel.
