A BARROW man is due to appear in court accused of racially aggravated criminal damage.
Peter Greaves, of Smeaton Street, is said to have damaged a store display, screens and till equipment to the value of £1,000 belonging to Balachandran Jaysingh in Barrow on April 17 2022.
The 30-year-old is also charged with racially/religiously aggravated fear/provocation of violence by words/writing, possession of Class B drug cannabis, using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour with intent to cause fear or provoke unlawful violence and criminal damage to property under £5,000.
He is due to appear before South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow on June 5.
