MUSIC lovers will sizzle in Mediterranean-style heat.

Chart-toppping music stars are coming to town for a festival forecast to be a sun-soaked sensation.

Join Nathan Dawe, Toploader and Tinchy Stryder for the Party on the Pitch at Barrow AFC’s stadium on June 3.

Join me in Barrow says Tinchy, the musician has enjoyed sell-out tours and today, sent a message to fans ahead of the day-long festival

He said: “I'm really excited to let you guys know that on June 3 - not the first or the second but the third - at Barrow AFC Football Club, it’s Party on the Pitch. I’ll be there - make sure you are there too. Get involved - don’t let me miss you. Love and peace.”

The headline acts will be joined by a host of local performers for the event - which will be held at the SO Legal stadium and also includes a live screening of the FA Cup Final.

Temperatures in Barrow are tipped to surpass 20 degrees Celsius by forecasters, while Rome, Madrid, and Monaco are set for rain.

Alisha Henry, chief operating officer at Barrow AFC said: “The one thing you can never control when it comes to an event is the weather - so we are pleased to see the hot spell we are enjoying at the moment will extend to our Party on the Pitch.

“Global stars, fantastic local artists, the FA Cup final, fully licensed bars and concession stands - what more could you want for a day out with family or friends?”

Nathan Dawe, who will play at the world-famous Ibiza Rocks before joining music lovers in Barrow, has amassed a number of hits in the last year.

Known for chart toppers including 21 Reasons with Ella Henderson and Lighter with KSI, he will kick the party off in style after local artists have performed.

Four-time Brit nominees Toploader will follow, and chart-topping rapper Tinchy Stryder will take to the stage as the sun sets over Holker Street.

The Pixel Kid and singer Dan Connolly are also set to perform.

Tickets start from £28, which includes full-day access, and there are a number of VIP options too.

The gates open at 2pm and there will be Concession stands open throughout the day to provide party-goers with food and drink.
