Hospice receives huge chunk of funding.
NFU Mutual South West Lakes are fantastic supporters of St Mary’s Hospice, having donated and raised over £23,000 so far.
They recently donated £6,443 as part of the NFU Mutual Agency Giving Fund 2023, an annual fund which sees £1.9 million distributed to charities all over the UK, which are nominated by staff at their local branches.
St Mary’s Hospice has been lucky enough to be nominated by the staff at the South West Lakes office in Ulverston for the past 4 years.
NFU Mutual South West Lakes are also a member of the BNI Endeavour Furness group, of which St Mary’s Hospice is a charity partner.
St Mary’s established their relationship with NFU Mutual through membership of the BNI group, a group which seeks to bring local businesses together to share contacts, business, support and advice.
The £6,443 donated contributed to achieving the group’s commitment to raise £15,000 every year for St Mary’s Hospice.
BNI Endeavour Furness meets at Charnley’s Garden Centre, Dalton-in-Furness every Friday at 6:45am for a bacon sandwich, tea and coffee. Here, they help each other to grow their business.
There is no obligation to sign-up straight away, just turn up one Friday to see how the BNI group can help you. To find out more email aross@bnicumbria.co.uk.
