THERE is still time to nominate your mental health champion.

As part of a mental health awareness campaign, the Mail is working with Kimberly-Clark.

Newsquest South Cumbria is proud to have partnered with the manufacturer on Mental Health Matters.

The campaign aims to shine a spotlight on the brilliant work people do to help others’ mental health in the community.

The Mental Health Matters campaign will also stress the importance of speaking out and breaking the stigma surrounding mental health.

The campaign invites people to nominate their friends, family and co-workers who have gone above and beyond for mental health. This may include: spreading awareness of mental health, helping someone through a hard time or helping debunk the stigma surrounding speaking out.

The campaign will run alongside Mental Health Awareness Week which takes place from Monday, May 15 until Sunday, May 21. The week is an opportunity for people to talk about all aspects of mental health, with a focus on providing help and advice.

A spokesman for Kimberly-Clark said: "Kimberly-Clark is delighted to be partnering again with Newsquest for their 2023 Mental Health Matters Campaign.

"Our purpose at Kimberly-Clark is to deliver better care for a better world through our brands Andrex, Kleenex and Huggies and supporting meaningful campaigns like this with our local community.

"We hope that the campaign will have a long-lasting positive impact on the community and the charities that it supports."
