A FURNESS man is due to be sentenced after pleading guilty to knife possession.
James Ormandy, of Rydal Road in Ulverston, admitted being in possession of a kitchen knife without good reason or lawful authority in a public place.
The knife was in excess of three inches.
The incident took place at Priory Road on March 3.
The 33-year-old pleaded guilty to the offence on April 3.
Ormandy is due to be sentenced for the crime at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court in Barrow on Tuesday April 11.
