A MAN accused of assaulting a woman at a holiday park in the Lake District is due to appear in court.
Neil Alderson is alleged to have caused actual bodily harm by assaulting Claire Kerr on April 2 last year.
It is said to have happened at White Cross Bay Holiday Park in Windermere.
The 51-year-old, of Richardby Crescent, Durham, is due to appear at South Cumbria Magistrates' Court today to enter a plea to the charge.
The defendant has been charged under the Offences Against the Person Act 1861.
