A BARROW takeaway has been handed a new food hygiene score.
Izgara Island Express, a takeaway at 19 Ramsden Dock Road, was given a new four-out-of-five food hygiene rating.
The score was handed to the business after assessment on February 16, the Food Standards Agency's website shows.
Of Barrow's 77 takeaways with ratings, 41 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
