SOUTH Lakes Police warned that the B5284 at Windermere (Crook Rd) is heavily flooded in parts and to avoid the area.
This was after a police officer had to rescue a driver and a passenger when they got stuck in flood water. The police officer said that both the driver and the passenger were safely out.
The police advice is to stay clear of standing water on roads to avoid accidents or incidents.
